The attorneys of Perona, Langer, Beck and Harrison have dedicated their careers to helping all people have the same access to our justice system. Our attorneys have been successful in hundreds of jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and administrative hearings. We serve our clients and their families in serious injury claims, wrongful death cases, employment disputes, workplace injuries, and social security disability benefits.

RON BECK

Mr. Beck has practiced his entire legal career with Perona, Langer, Beck and Harrison. He was named partner in 1983. Mr. Beck specializes in personal injury, real estate, and business litigation cases, trying numerous successful cases including jury cases, court cases, and binding arbitrations.

TODD H. HARRISON

Mr. Harrison is a Managing Partner at PLBH. He primarily focuses his practice on workplace harassment, discrimination and retaliation claims, overtime and minimum wage claims, class actions, whistle-blower claims and wrongful terminations.

ERIC N. SCHWARTZ

Mr. Schwartz is a partner in the Workers’ Compensation division. He has successfully tried hundreds of cases and obtained millions of dollars for his clients in both negotiated settlements and judicial verdicts.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Sociology from the University of Southern California in 2003 and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2007. He is the author of “U.S Security Strategy: Empowering Kim Jong-il?”, published in the 2008 Loyola International Law Journal.

JERRY C. CHANG

Mr. Chang obtained his BA degrees at the University of Southern California, majoring in Business Administration and Cinema Television Business. Jerry Chang is the Managing Partner of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation department and a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist by the California State bar.

JENNIE KIM

Ms. Kim joined Perona, Langer, Beck and Harrison in 2012. She focuses exclusively on representing injured workers in workers’ compensation cases.

Ms. Kim obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Irvine, graduating cum laude with a major in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School.

Will Carr

WILLIAM CARR

Mr. Carr focuses his practice on securing Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation benefits for his clients. Prior to joining PLBH in 2012, he was a Supervising Attorney and Associate Director with a national Social Security Disability law firm. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) and has helped secure Social Security benefits for hundreds of disabled clients.

PATRICK HAWKINS

Mr. Hawkins joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison in 2013. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in English from the University of California, Davis. In addition to being a member of Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Honor Society, he wrote for the student newspaper and completed two student internship programs in Washington DC. The two internship programs consisted of him working at the White House and conducting legal research for a prominent Capitol Hill think tank.

JENNIFER S. BASKARON

Jennifer S. Baskaron represents clients on employment law claims involving discrimination and harassment in the workplace based on sex, race, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and age as well as retaliation, wage and hour, whistleblower and wrongful terminations. She has successfully litigated a wide range of matters in employment law against small businesses and big corporations and is responsible for millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for her clients.

EDWARD C. HINOJOS

A proud son of California’s Central San Joaquin Valley, Edward graduated from Fresno State in 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science. He subsequently attended Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 2016. He was then admitted to the State Bar of California the same year.

Since the inception of his legal career Edward has worked exclusively for the rights of injured workers in the field of Workers’ Compensation.

MICHAEL S. WALKER

Michael S. Walker joined Perona, Langer, Beck, Harrison Employment Law department in 2019. Mr. Walker earned a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago and a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from UC Irvine School of Law. Michael represents employees in a broad range of matters including claims of discrimination and harassment arising in the workplace, as well as wage and hour disputes.

NICK SANDOMIRSKY

Nick Sandomirsky is an attorney focusing exclusively on workers’ compensation litigation. Mr. Sandomirsky has represented a diverse range of clients in the workers’ compensation system including employees, employers, and insurance carriers since 2011.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in 1998 and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California in 2007.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as supporting Everton F.C.

AMY ZAVIDOW

AMY ZAVIDOW

Ms. Zavidow practices employment law, focusing on discrimination and retaliation claims, workplace harassment, whistle-blower claims, wage and hour claims, and wrongful terminations. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Carleton College in 2006 and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2009. While there, she served as an Editor for the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law and co-authored an article focusing on copyright law within the context of international human rights. Ms. Zavidow later attended the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, earning an LL.M. with a Dual Specialization in Business Law and Intellectual Property in 2011.

JASMINE KEOUGH

Ms. Keough obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Pepperdine University in 2007 and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2010 from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Ms. Keough has been practicing workers’ compensation since 2012 and exclusively the rights of injured workers since 2016. Prior to that she practiced employment law. She litigated cases throughout California, including Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Ms. Keough is committed about advocating for the rights of injured workers.

Brett Ferguson

Brett Ferguson

Brett Ferguson represents clients whose civil rights have been violated by employers. His practice focuses on all forms of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour violations, whistleblower claims, wrongful termination, class actions and PAGA claims. He has extensive litigation experience, taking cases through trial when necessary.

Mr. Ferguson obtained his Bachelor of Arts from U.C. Berkeley, graduating summa cum laude as an English major. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, where he served as a V.P. of the Public Interest Law Foundation and interned at the California Department of Justice.

Alexander Zaimi

Alexander Zaimi represents employees in cases involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act, as well as wrongful termination and wage and hour claims. He has extensive litigation experience and is passionate about advocating for the rights of employees and securing the best possible outcome for his clients.

Mr. Zaimi obtained his Bachelor of Arts in History from UCLA and earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the UC Davis School of Law.

Angelica Zamudio

Angelica Zamudio joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison in 2024. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside. Ms. Zamudio went on to receive her Juris Doctor from La Verne College of Law in Ontario, CA.

Prior to joining Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison, Ms. Zamudio worked in consumer protection where she litigated cases throughout all of California. In her previous role Ms. Zamudio advocated for consumer rights under the California Lemon Law and protected consumers from unfair and fraudulent actions.

Erik O. Mills

Mr. Mills represents individuals who have suffered discrimination, harassment, and retaliation in the workplace, as well as wrongful termination and wage and hour claims. Earning his Juris Doctor with Honors in 2018, Mr. Mills has extensive litigation and trial experience developed as a criminal defense attorney prior to joining Perona, Langer, Beck and Harrison’s Employment Division.

Matthew Morris

Matthew Morris

Matthew Morris was raised in Compton, California, alongside his three siblings. As a former collegiate athlete, he enjoys staying active through a variety of outdoor activities. During law school, Matthew studied at the International Institute for Human Rights, focusing on International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, and International Human Rights Law, and earned certification in International Criminal and Humanitarian Law. He also gained valuable experience at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.

Laura Zazueta

Laura Zazueta joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison’s Employment Division in 2024. Laura advocates for individuals whose civil rights have been violated in the workplace, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

Prior to joining PLBH, Laura earned her Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law. During law school, Laura advocated for immigrant rights in the Justice and Immigration Clinic and interned at CARECEN, a nonprofit organization. Laura also gained invaluable experience interning at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

Taylor J. Morgan

Taylor J. Morgan joined Perona, Langer, Beck & Harrison’s employment division in 2024. Taylor represents clients on employment law claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.
